Another year is over, and you have to admit that it was really worth it. We’ve been through an incredible time together, so let’s recap the highlights together.

So what was 2023 like? If the author of this article had to use just one word to describe it, he would certainly use the adjective successful, because last year was successful in all aspects. We expanded our ranks and managed to break the 300 employees milestone. The Annual Management Meeting was held in Košice to discuss the strategic direction of our company. We bought a major Austrian company. We were also visited by the founder of CANCOM and received an invitation from him to the PrimePulse conference.
In April, we managed to break the magical threshold of 300 employees, and thus became one of the largest employers in the IT sector in the Košice region. Don’t worry, this is not our end, and we will not go on our last campaign, but just on the contrary. We want to grow further, and we hope that we will be able to surpass the 400 milestone as soon as possible. So, who was employee number 300? That magic number will forever belong to Tomas Hudak, who has strengthened our PSC team.

This year, we hosted the Annual Management Meeting, giving us a unique opportunity to introduce ourselves and Košice to the entire CANCOM community. It was 2 rich days and during the first day we introduced Košice and our office to all the visitors. The second day was a full day conference in Kunsthalle, where the strategic direction of CANCOM was discussed. Of course, we were given the floor and Matúš Čopík, Senior Vice President, Nataša Burak, Teamleader – PSC Delivery Management and Martin Bača, Senior Manager actively participated in the conference.

In September, Klaus Weinmann, who is the founder of our company, visited us together with Jochen Borenich, Chief Sales Officer of CANCOM. During their visit, they visited our company premises and together discussed the future of the Košice office with Matúš Čopík, Senior Vice President and Ivan Kováč, Senior Manager.

With A to Z service and a strong company culture for success. This was the title of our entry at the PRIMEPULSE conference and Matúš Čopík, Senior Vice President in his entry revealed the recipe for how to build a successful Service Hub, the basis of which is a strong internal culture, which we clearly have.

You must have noticed the information that we bought the Austrian company K-Businesscom, and thus #teamCANCOM has expanded by about 1650 people. Good, right? The numbers tell us that K-Businesscom is not just a small company, as it achieved revenues of around €520 million in the 2022/2023 fiscal year and counts names like ORF, EVN, AG, Allianz and the Raiffeisen financial group among its customers. As of 1 January, K-Businesscom has been operating under the name CANCOM Austria, thus significantly strengthening our presence in the DACH region.
We would like to thank all CANCOM members for last year and this year will be no different. We have big plans and we want to fulfill them.
