Our Cologne office can be found in the Mülheim district. There are many restaurants, the Rhine promenade and the Deutz train station in the surrounding area.

The newly built commercial quarter I/D Cologne with 160,000 sqm of office, hotel, restaurant and fitness space, in which CANCOM moved into the top two floors of the “Haus am Platz” in May 2021, is located on a former site of the Cologne-Mühlheim freight station. A place that was once dominated by locomotives and industry has been transformed into an attractive business park. The street name of our office “Am Kabellager” also refers to the industrial history of the place: a wire rope factory and the cable factory, where huge cable reels were stored, were located here.
Modern office spaces offer everything you need for hybrid ways of working. Our conference rooms and offices create space for creative work with an impressive view of Cologne Cathedral. The branch is located approximately 10 to 15 minutes’ walk from the east bank of the Rhine and can be reached conveniently by public transport. For those who prefer to travel by car, there is a multi-storey car park with plenty of free parking spaces.
Our Cologne location in a modern, up-and-coming district combines professional commitment, social networking and personal quality of life. The culinary variety plays an important role in this: On the ground floor of the building, there are various restaurants with outdoor catering to choose from – perfect for a relaxed lunch break. Directly in front of the office building is a spacious square with water features and green areas. The surrounding area also offers an abundance of cosy cafés and restaurants serving international cuisine. Thanks to the neighbouring cultural location Schanzenstraße, which is known for its E-Werk or Palladium event venues, nothing stands in the way of the perfect end of the day. A gym, shopping facilities for daily needs and a hotel are also in the immediate vicinity.
Our team in Cologne comprises around 400 colleagues who work on around 2,600 square metres of office space. Among other things, this is where the team around the CANCOM Cloud Marketplace is located, as well as most of the CANCOM Managed Services, which take care of the IT outsourcing of our customers and their IT operations in our own high-availability data centers, for example.
