Is volleyball new to CANCOM?

Who dominated the volleyball court the best?

Summer in CANCOM is definitely associated with beach volleyball

However, this tournament was not just a one-off event, but the culmination of a summer full of volleyball action. Every Wednesday, players from different teams met at the Beach Club for friendly matches to hone their skills. These regular meetings gave the players an opportunity to keep in top shape, even though every Wednesday was somewhat hexed for us.

Yes, you heard right. While every other day of the week was sunny and inviting, Wednesday seemed like the clouds were conspiring against our volleyball. But did this spoil the mood of our determined players? Not a chance! Nothing can stop the CANCOMs.

Even Wednesday 26.7., when the tournament was originally supposed to take place, did not avoid this curse, and so we were forced to postpone the tournament for a week later. Despite these organizational changes, the tournament turned out great. The sunny weather, great atmosphere and refreshing drinks added a special charm to the event. The 24 players in six teams gave very good and sometimes even professional performances, but only one team could become the winner.

Who dominated the volleyball court the best?

Among the competitors, after a very exciting duel in the semi-finals with the team TBD, composed of Peter Miškuf, Patrik Varga, Peter Veselovský and Bruno Václavík, the winner was the team MC ZLOBA. Players of this team Pavol Kralčák, Miro Fuhrman, Viktor Takáč and Dominik Schurger confirmed their dominance in the tournament. Their strategic play and cohesive teamwork were the key factors that propelled them to the top. Despite an injury to one of their players in the semi-finals, substitute Michal Tomčo helped lead this team to victory. Completing the podium with a bronze placing was the TOS team consisting of fellow PSC team members – Marek Vorobeľ, Viktor Fortuna, Tomáš Hudák, Ondrej Martinove and Jakub Jaremko.

Conclusion

First of all, congratulations to the winners and we hope that the losers will not give up on this sport but on the contrary improve their experience and team strategy. However, we have to say that all the participants of the tournament gave really high quality performances, and we are already looking forward to continuing this tradition next year.
